To ensure the highest level of safety and quality, our processes are regularly audited by independent certification bodies. Our certifications reflect our commitment to quality, reliability, and responsibility while documenting compliance with internationally recognized standards.

DIN EN ISO 22000:2018
Certified by TÜV SÜD in accordance with DIN EN ISO 22000:2018, we meet the internationally recognized requirements for a food safety management system and ensure the consistent monitoring and continuous improvement of our processes.
This certification confirms that our processes throughout the entire supply chain are systematically aligned with quality, food safety, and transparency.
Organic Certification
“Credible Organic Products” is the guiding principle of Gesellschaft für Ressourcenschutz mbH (GfRS), based in Göttingen, Germany.
Our plant-based raw materials bearing the EU organic logo, as listed in our current product portfolio, are certified by GfRS and approved for the trade of organic products in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/848.
In addition, selected products within our portfolio are approved as feed materials in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 183/2005.
As a distributor, we serve as the link between raw material manufacturers, producers, and marketers of the corresponding finished products.
To maintain certification throughout the supply chain and to offer products that have been certified as kosher or halal by their manufacturers, we have also obtained the relevant certifications.
Halal Certification
For the product groups Natural Spices Halal, Seasonings and Herbs Halal, Additives Halal, and Merchandise Halal, we are halal certified by m-haditec GmbH & Co. KG in accordance with Islamic law.
Certification is based on a thorough review of the ingredients as well as comprehensive inspections of the production facilities.
Kosher Certification
Once a year, the London Beth Din Kashrut Division (KLBD) audits the products traded by Dr. Behr to verify compliance with Jewish dietary laws.
Our portfolio of kosher and halal certified products is continuously expanding. A current product list is available upon request.
Green electricity
Dr. Behr uses electricity generated exclusively from 100% renewable energy sources.
Sustainable Web Hosting
Our website is powered by renewable energy. The associated CO₂ emissions are fully offset.
