Dr. Behr GmbH relies on long-term partnerships and regular quality controls when sourcing green-lipped mussel powder. During a visit to its long-standing production partners in New Zealand, a delegation from the company conducted comprehensive on-site audits to review production processes and verify compliance with defined quality requirements.

The audits covered various stages of the production process, from harvesting to the finished product. The inspections included raw material intake, process parameters, cleaning and drying procedures, in-process controls, finished product specifications, documentation, and traceability.

The results of the on-site audits confirmed compliance with the defined quality parameters within the scope of the inspections. The documented traceability procedures were also reviewed.
